Unmounted Yorkie Pup

I just completed a yorkie pup and have fallen in love (keeping with the "love" theme of late)! I don't have any pets myself - unless you count my four kids (sometimes, I wonder if they are animals or people...), but when I saw that one of my Etsy customers loves terriers of all breeds, and saw a picture of a teacup yorkie, I couldn't resist quilling him. Although, he's bigger than a teacup yorkie head would be - his measurements are 6 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall/long.
I think I'll just sit and adore him awhile before selling him (of course, I've got to mount him, too). It's kind of a strange phenomenom, but sometimes quilling comes alive and grabs hold of part of your heart. That's what this little guy has done for me.

  1. Thank you! He is my first commissioned piece. My client (hehehe - it's great to be able to say that!) wants me to do another one of a Scottish terrier - so be on the lookout for that one in a month or two.

  6. I've already mentioned this to you, but he is the cutest little guy; he really seems animated by his expression; and to think he's paper. Maybe I should trade in my two crazy dog's for one like this......hee hee.
